How to Identify the Quality of Water Softener Salt?
Many people buy water softener salt, although there is a test report, but do not intuitively understand the quality of water softener salt, so how should we usually identify the quality of it? Here are two ways for your reference.
1. Visual detection method
①Directly inspect the appearance of the product with the naked eye to see whether it is: white color, delicate structure, full particles, regular shape, and no obvious impurities.
②Use physical methods such as hand cracking and pressing to test whether the product is not breakable.
If the answer to the above questions is "yes", it means that the product is high purity and has fewer impurities. The product is strong, and the quality will be better, and "no" is the opposite.
2. Dissolution detection method
①Fill two glass containers or empty mineral water bottles with 1/3 water at one time, respectively, and mark bottle No. 1 and bottle No. 2.
②Put 2 pieces of water softener salt products into bottle 1, and 10 pieces of water softener salt products into bottle 2. After about 4 hours, observe the dissolution of water softener salt tablets in two bottles to see whether the water softener salt is completely dissolved and whether the water softener salt solution is clear.
③First observe bottle No. 1 if the water softener salt tablet is completely dissolved, the solution is clear, further indicating that the product is clean and free of impurities; If there are undissolved substances at the bottom of the bottle and the water quality is cloudy, it means that the product has too much impurities.
④Then observe the No. 2 bottle. The bottom of the bottle is left with part of the complete salt sheet, which is no longer melted, further indicating that the product is of high purity, the salt is solid, the dissolution is uniform, and the production process is advanced. If there is some loose salt at the bottom of the bottle and it is no longer dissolved, it means that the quality of the salt is poor and the production process is not up to standard.
