94% Calcium Chloride Anhydrous Powder CaCl2 Calcium Chloride For Sewage Treatment
Calcium chloride is a colorless cubic crystal, odorless and slightly bitter in taste. The relative density is 2.15. Melting point 782°C. The boiling point is above 1600°C. It is extremely hygroscopic and easily deliquescent when exposed to the air. It is easily soluble in water and emits a lot of heat at the same time. Its aqueous solution is slightly acidic. Soluble in alcohol, and acetic acid. It reacts with ammonia or ethanol to generate CaCl2·8NH3 and CaCI2·4C2 Hs OH complexes respectively. The hexahydrate is usually precipitated by crystallization from the aqueous solution at normal temperature, and it will dissolve when it is gradually heated to 30°C. In its own crystal water, continue to heat and gradually lose water, and become dihydrate at 200°C, and then turn into white porous anhydrous calcium chloride when heated to 260°C.
