Ningde Times-The World's Largest Single-Unit Project! Started Production in August!
On March 1, Fuding Times lithium-ion battery production base No. 5 super factory project was formally topped off, and the project broke the fastest construction speed of civil construction phase of Ningde Times (300750) with a construction time of 4 months and 10 days, which also marked that No. 5 super factory had achieved an important milestone victory, and took a solid and powerful step toward completion and production.
It is understood that the Fuding Times No. 5 Super Factory project plant has a monolithic floor area of 230,000 square meters, with a layout of four internationally leading super production lines for new energy batteries and intelligent manufacturing equipment, and an annual production capacity of 25 GWh of new energy power batteries. The project officially started on October 21, 2024, and is expected to be put into production in August 2025.
Data show that the Fuding Times lithium-ion battery production base is the largest single project in the global layout of Ningde Times, with an output value of more than 100 billion yuan. Among them, the No. 1-5 factory covers an area of 2,932 acres, including the No. 1 to No. 3 electric core plant and super No. 4 and No. 5 electric core plant, with a total investment of 22 billion yuan. The first phase of the total construction area of 1.9 million square meters, the construction of four core plant, three module plant and supporting facilities room, warehouse, canteen, dormitory, etc., creating jobs about 10,000 people.
