Shandong Haihua Newly Built 200,000 Tons/Year Baking Soda
Project Groundbreaking Ceremony Held
On the morning of March 6, the groundbreaking ceremony of the new 200,000 tons/year baking soda project of Shandong Haihua Group Co., Ltd. The project is invested by Shandong Haihua Co., Ltd, covering an area of 12,000 square meters with an investment of 118 million yuan.
It is understood that the project will start the main equipment installation in May, put into operation in September, after the project reaches production and effect, the total output of the new and old lines of the baking soda plant will reach 400,000 tons/year. Liu Wenwen, director of Shandong Haihua Baking Soda Factory, said: "The project further improves the intelligent level of the production system through the use of new equipment and production technology, to achieve high quality, low consumption and diversification of baking soda products, and to promote the effective improvement of profitability and competitiveness."
The newly-built 200,000 tons/year baking soda project is an important initiative taken by Haihua Group to implement the major projects of old and new energy conversion of the province and the city, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of industries, and is also an important project to improve the circular economy of the marine chemical industry, to make the industrial chain more complete, the number of products more compatible, the energy of production more balanced, and the advantages of environmental protection more prominent. The implementation of this project will add strong power for Haihua Group to build a modernized first-class enterprise group of “chemical + energy”.
