Calcium Chloride Dihydrate 74% Industrial Grade Calcium Chloride Flakes
Calcium chloride dihydrate is also called ice calcium. Colorless crystals. General products are white, off-white or slightly yellow flake or block solids with bitter and astringent taste. The density is 1.85g/cm3 (20 °C). Easily soluble in water, soluble in alcohol. Its aqueous solution is neutral or slightly alkaline. When heated to 260°C, dehydration becomes anhydrous. Strong deliquescence. The distillation waste liquid (containing 100g/L of calcium chloride) in the production of soda ash produced by the ammonia-soda method, after purification, clarification, evaporation, and separation of sodium chloride, the mother liquor is clarified and concentrated, when the calcium chloride content reaches 70% , prepared by cooling. It can also be prepared by the reaction of hydrochloric acid and limestone powder.

Conslusion | Qualified |
Calcium chloride dihydrate is used as a refrigerant, antifreeze, fire extinguishing agent, used for melting ice and snow, making anhydrous calcium chloride, flame retardant for cotton fabrics, and coagulant for rubber production. It can accelerate the hardening of concrete and increase the cold resistance of construction mortar. It is also used as an anti-fogging agent in ports and a dust collector on roads. From industrial grade calcium chloride dihydrate saturated solution, adding decolorizing agent, removing heavy metal agent, removing arsenic agent for solution purification, filtering to remove impurities, filtrate cooling and crystallization, solid-liquid separation, and drying can be used to prepare food-grade products. Used as a coagulant for canned food and soy products, and a calcium fortifier.
