1. Chemical name: Anhydrous calcium chloride
2. Molecular formula: CaCL2
3. Appearance: White spiny ball, the size can be controlled within 2-5mm according to customer requirements.
4. Nature: Odorless, slightly bitter taste. The relative density is 2.15 (25℃). Melting point is 782℃. Boiling point is above 1600℃. It is highly hygroscopic and easily deliquescent when exposed to the air. It is easily soluble in water and emits a lot of heat at the same time. Its aqueous solution is slightly acidic. Soluble in alcohol and acetic acid. It reacts with ammonia or ethanol to generate CaCl2·8NH3 and CaCl2·4C2H5OH complexes respectively. The hexahydrate which is crystallized from the aqueous solution at room temperature is usually hexahydrate, and when it is gradually heated to 30℃, it will dissolve in its own crystal water, continue to heat and gradually lose water, and become dihydrate when it reaches 200℃, and then heat to 260℃ It becomes white porous anhydrous calcium chloride.
