21% Nitrogen Ammonium Sulfate Crystal 50KG/BAG Ammonium Sulphate Fertilizer
The chemical formula of ammonium sulfate is (NH4)2SO4. Ammonium sulfate is colorless crystal or translucent orthorhombic crystal or white particle. Soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol. When heated to 28 ° C, it decomposes into ammonia and sulfuric acid. The relative density is 1.77. The pH value of the 0.1mol/L aqueous solution is 5.5. Reacts with sodium hypochlorite to generate explosive nitrogen trichloride. It is decomposed by high heat and emits toxic fumes. The solubility in water is (g/loog H20): 70.6 (0°C); 76.7 (25°C); 103.8 (100°C). This product is non-flammable and irritating.
1. Neutralization method: Ammonia and sulfuric acid are neutralized at about 100 ℃, and the resulting ammonium sulfate crystal slurry is centrifuged and dried to obtain the finished ammonium sulfate. 2NH3+H2SO4→(NH4)2SO4
2. Recovery method: Ammonia gas is recovered from coke oven gas, and then neutralized with sulfuric acid.

1. Mainly used as fertilizer, suitable for various soils and crops.
2. Used as an analytical reagent and also used to precipitate proteins.
3. Used as welding flux, fabric fire retardant, etc.
4. It can be used as fertilizer, welding flux, fabric fireproofing agent, salting-out agent and osmotic pressure regulator in medicine.
5. In the chemical industry, it is used as the raw material for the production of hydrogen peroxide, ammonium alum and ammonium chloride, and in the welding industry as a flux. The textile industry is used as a fire retardant for fabrics. The electroplating industry is used as an additive for electroplating baths. It is used as nitrogen fertilizer in agriculture, suitable for general soil and crops. Food grade products are used as dough conditioners and yeast nutrients.
6. Dough conditioner; yeast nutrient. It is used as a nitrogen source for yeast culture in fresh yeast production, and the dosage is not specified. The amount used as a yeast nutrient in bread is about 10% (about 0.25% of the amount of wheat flour). GB2760-90 is listed as processing aid.
7. Biological preparations, precipitated proteins, chromatographic analysis reagents, urine examination, preparation of culture medium in haploid breeding. Medicine is used as a salting-out agent, a catalyst for food sauce, and for the cultivation of fresh yeast to produce yeast. Also used as auxiliaries for acid dyes and deliming agents for leather. The production of hydrogen peroxide is used to make ammonium persulfate, as well as electroplating.
