Anionic polyacrylamide (APAM) is a copolymer of acrylamide and acrylate. It is a water-soluble linear polymer flocculant. Cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) is a water-soluble polymer polyelectrolyte, which is easily soluble in water but insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol. Nonionic polyacrylamide (NPAM) molecular chain contains a certain amount of polar genes, which can adsorb solid particles suspended in water and form large flocs between particles. It accelerates the sedimentation of the particles in the suspension, has a very obvious effect of accelerating the clarification of the solution, and promoting filtration.
