Calcium chloride (CaCl2) is a calcium and chloride salt that has a wide range of applications in many fields, especially in aquaculture. CaCl2 plays an important role in shrimp metabolism, helping shrimp to grow healthy and well. In particular, shrimp species such as shrimp, whiteleg shrimp and black tiger shrimp often suffer from anorexia, poor performance and slow growth if they lack Ca2+ ions, so calcium supplementation is essential.
